Straight-from-the-Shade-Tree: If you like Good-Ole-Boy wrench turning, this is the place for you. However, if you want something fixed correctly, keep driving. MOST RECENT 6/2011: My wife had a flat on a new tire (less that 100 miles) on her way to Ardmore. I changed the and stopped in for a flat repair. The "MECHANIC" shoved a plug into the corner of the tire, leaving more than an inch of it hanging out, aired it up and started to install it on the car. STOP!!! Being a former Goodyear Certified Tire Specialist, there were a few things not right. 1. This type of plug voids warranties (ALL COMPANIES). [So if I had a warranty, this Genius just voided the warranty] 2. Any type of repair past the last outer tread will not last. This is the Flex Area of the tire. The tire, at some point, will fail. Yet, Einstein of the grease, shoved a plug into the tire. 3. The inside of the tire was not inspected. This was a "Run Flat" tire. As it turns out, ALL of the butal-rubber, the stuff that holds the air in, was completely gone in the flex area. This tire would have failed at highway speeds in short order. The end of the story; I had him put the spare back on and went to a REAL mechanic who inspected the tire, then showed me not only the damage to the butal-rubber, but that the plug did to the belts of the tire. Well the plug is innocent in all of this, and was subject to the MORON who shoved it into the tire! The up side, when the tire failed I could have sued, but how much does a shade tree mechanic make? My wife's safety is priceless! FYI: Also bought a V-5 Thunderbird. (oh there were 6 cylinders, but one was due to die in 163 miles. OH, no warranty past 100 miles. Also they put on the wrong shocks. Does Front sound like Back to you? An honest mistake, right?

They worked on my car just a little to expensive
